Dinner With Dad

The kids went to my Dad's today. Nikki needed to get some work done so she is ready for me to be out of commission with my eye surgery. She got a good chunk of what she needed for the month done, so she should be on track.

After work my dad and Vikki dropped off the kids and stayed for dinner. Nikki was making beef stroganoff and I made homemade noodles. The beef stroganoff turned out really good, and the noodles were good. The only issue is there were so many noodles they cooled down the water a bit to much when they should have been cooking.

It was fun because I got to try out my new noodle press which worked really well. It got them really thin. I also used them to cut the noodle, but it makes them a bit to narrow, I think I will just cut them with a knife next time.
