Cruise Trip Day 1

Today we headed out first thing in the morning for the cruise trip. The flights were pretty easy and painless. We had been expecting have a really short layover in Atlanta, but luckily we ended up with extra time and the gate moved to the same terminal.

Once we landed we headed to the hotel. It wasn't long before we headed down to the pool to play. Then in the evening we ate inner at the food trucks in the hotel parking lot.

There were several issues though. Kim and her family, who are Nikki's childhood best friend had their southwest flight deleted. It wasn't cancelled, nobody was rebooked a new flight, the flight just didn't exist. So luckily there was a flight 4 hours away from LAX and they drove there and cought that flight.

THEN on their layover their daughters bag was lost in New Orleans. So when they arrived they had to fight with Southwest. There was no way to get the bag to them before the cruise tomorrow. Eventually the airline paid them money, and they plan to run to the store in the morning to replace everything.
