Meal Prep and School Project
Today I went to the store. I couldn't remember why. After walking around for half an hour I finally remembered I was out of breakfasts and needed to buy stuff to make more breakfast bowls for the freezer.
I don't have a recipe. Usually, I use ground turkey for the meat, but this time I decided to go meatless. I used 36 eggs, 3 cans of black beans(cooked and drained), 1 bag of Yukon gold potatoes (cubed, microwaved, and crisped in a pan ), 3 cups of shredded cheese, 1 cup of milk (for eggs), and various spices. I cook everything up individually and mix it all together. Then I used a one-cup measuring cup to divide everything up into freezer bags. I ended up with 25 bags. Which is pretty good, so I won't need to make more for a while.
I haven't calculated the calories, but I am thinking between 400-500 per bag. This is 150 more than my last batch with turkey, but twice as much per bag.
Mark had a group school project that he needed to do with his friend Jamison. So Jamison came over to work on it with him. The project was for math class, and they needed to take a real-world object and scale it, then recreate that object in a medium. I talked them into using a Rubik's cube, and then scaling it and 3d printing it. The instructions from the teacher really sucked. She used inches for some reason, and her example was not a good one. I did some test prints and figured out a way to make it a spinning model. I think it will work really nicely.
