A Good Day Turned Stressful
Work went really good today, I had a minor hiccup in my release, but it was more of a procedural delay rather than a issue. That made me a minute late to my other meeting where I announced that the package I had been working on was in prod and ready for use after four months of work.
Later in the day, someone stopped me and asked me if I offhand know how some reports were pulling data. It just so happened I knew a ton about that system. Within minutes I was setup to be on the team to evaluate software options for a new system.
Nikki had a meh day substituting, the kids in the afternoon seemed to be a little crazy.
After work we went to Texas Roadhouse for Sharon's Birthday. It was ok, but not great, service was ok but not great, the kids were ok but not great.
After that we did home work and the evening kind of fell to pieces. Warren wouldn't listen and refused to do anything he was asked. Mark wouldn't start his homework, so we ended up not working through his test review which would have been helpful.
